Cursor
Use a dheeX model in the Cursor IDE.
- Open Cursor Settings → Models → API Keys.
- Paste your dheeX key under OpenAI API Key, save it, and enable Use OpenAI API Key.
- Enable Override OpenAI Base URL and enter
https://api.dheex.com/v1. - Add the exact model ID enabled for your key, such as
deepseek-ai/DeepSeek-V4.1-Flash-1017. - Restart Cursor, open a new chat, and select that model. Send a short message and check your dheeX usage.
Cursor’s custom-key integration supports chat models. Use dheeX’s Chat Completions compatibility path here; a Responses setting for this setup has not been verified. Tab completion continues to use Cursor’s models.
Turn off Use OpenAI API Key when switching back to Cursor-managed models; the base URL override can also affect those requests.
